Well this is my first attempt at painting a picture. An idea just came to me and this is the result. I spent around eight hours trying different things and finaly came up with this image. I quite like the way it looks, I guess It is a snapshot of time past and one of my favourite things to do...Fly a kite. I used photoshop & a mouse. Well I hope you enjoy it... Just thought i'd share.

LIke the painting, the colours look great and I like the way it fades off. The one thing that I'm not sure on are the clouds, it just looks like photoshop cloud filter rather than having much substance to it. +7/8

Good work man! but think there is a little problem of shading at the down side of sky, i mean it is a little dark.

Well this is a change, pretty pimp. The photoshop cloud is really overwhelming, but I like the idea.

There isn't a lot there for just painting techniques but it greatly helps with choosing colours/composition etc
